Mackenzie and I went to yoga for the first time this week to try it out. Which in and of itself might have been note worthy if it weren't for Kenz and her antics. She has a desperate need for attention even at the cost of her physical well being! This week for her "big attention getter" she waited until she was just in front of a group of people, on our way to yoga, and then flung herself at the asphalt parking lot, with the intent of scraping her knee. She succeeded.
No, Mackenzie isn't doing a yoga pose. We didn't have a camera when she fell the first time so when we got back to the apartment I had her lay back down so we could document what happened. (Which she was more than happy to do when she saw the camera!)
The wound...
Kenzie, posing for the camera.. what a show off!...
and yes, it took no less than 4 band-aids to cover it!
Although Kenz does love the spot light she is happy to share it with others at times. This last Sunday we got a call to come in and meet with the Bishop before church. Kenz knew right from the start of this meeting that it would probably end with a church calling and she was right! The Bishop called us to be Sunday School teachers, a calling that Kenzie gladly shares with me! I think she must have know that it was coming because just a few days before she bought me a new white shirt to wear to church.
(The Texas A&M tie was my own doing.)
